Dedicated flatbed transport (including step-decks and lowboys) is mandatory for large-bore valves (over 20-inch nominal size), tall automated control valve packages exceeding standard trailer interior height (110 inches), or shipments originating from facilities that lack dock-height doors and must load from ground level using yard cranes or forklifts.
