AWWA C504 Butterfly Valves: Rubber-Seated & Flanged

AWWA C509 & C515 Resilient-Seated Gate Valves

Configurations include standard mechanical joint (MJ) ends for ductile iron pipe, flanged ends for plant vaults, or push-on restraint joint ends.

Verify whether valves are Non-Rising Stem (NRS) for underground buried service or Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) with rising stems for fire protection service complying with UL/FM standards.

Valves originating from municipal utility authorities, water districts, or public works agencies must be accompanied by formal legal surplus authorization. Public agency procurement rules require clear documentation confirming that the equipment has been formally declared surplus property and approved for commercial liquidation.

Freight Preparation for Large-Diameter Waterworks Inventory
